Billy Bike

This is my personal single speed commuter bike, a 1998 Cannondale mountain bike that I stripped, powder coated, removed all the components, chopped the handlebars and replaced the front suspension with a carbon rigid fork. I replaced the wheels with 650c triathlon rims. Free of all unnecessary components, the bike weighs a featherweight 10 kilos. I designed the custom graphics…The name Billy is inspired by the bike’s goat-like proportions and stance, and way it climbs hills like a bastard!

I’m totally stoked on all aspects of this bike - the classic Killer V frame, the matte paint scheme and how the tires and bar tape pop, and a perfectly fitting name/logo.  Awesome job all around.

I like it al lot!  Idea-> full disk rear wheel with disc brake. Another… straight fork, 43 rake, w/dual tube on both sides; very unique!  Or not.
