Single Speed Commuter Bike

This single speed commuter bike has an integrated cargo rack that flows seamlessly from the top tube down to the rear hub. Designed to be hand-built using traditional cro-mo steel tubes and lugs.

Another great design here.

Though, I’d make the rear pannier rack function more as a regular rack as well, for those of us that don’t always use panniers.

virtually perfect bike design from an aesthetic standpoint, in my opinion.  the proportion and lines are great.  the wheels are very cool.  nice.

really nice bike, but please consider that you will really likely hit those panniers with your heels and/or with the back of your thigh

oh and: i understand that single-speed-hype out of styling reasons but: as a commuter bike concept, can’t you say at least “3 speed hub shifting”? lacks userfriendlyness otherwise… ;)

Excellent. Stephan made an important point.  Maybe have a similarly formed rear piece, detachable, pointing rearward that would not detract from overall design.
